Two certifications to better serve the tristate area have recently been earned at Barton Automotive Services. Chris Dillard, ASE master certified technician earned an Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification from the EVT Certification Commission, Inc. This certification represents achievement in technician education, training, and experience in servicing and repairing county and state emergency vehicles. Barton Automotive Services earned certification as an ignition interlock system installer administrated by Intoxalock. An ignition interlock device is an installed breathalyzer on vehicles. Facilities must pass assessment testing to become a State approved partner to perform services. By earning these two certifications, Barton Automotive strengths their commitment to safe communities.

We CAN service your vehicle under warranty!

True or false: Until your vehicle is out-of-warranty, it must be serviced by the new car dealer or the factory warranty will be void.  Although you may have answered “true,” the correct answer is “false.”  We CAN SERVICE your vehicle if it is under warranty right here at our shop where you can get fast service and highly trained technicians!  We'd love to take care of it for you.

It’s the law that independent repair shops can provide the services to maintain your new car warranty. Consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, enforced by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), which prohibits a manufacturer from voiding the vehicle warranty because service was done by a non-dealer.
